Formed in 2010, the MRI Endurance Racing Team powered by Monster Media, has rapidly grown into a dominating force in the racing circuit. The Elite Masters, 35+ and Elite Junior programs of 2012 achieved over 61 wins and a myriad of podium appearances. Following an incredibly successful 2012 season, the team is gunning for even greater accomplishments in 2013 with the addition of an Elite U23 squad and an expanded youth development program.
The MRI Endurance Racing Team powered by Monster Media is lead by Chris DeMarchi and Derric Swinfard. Their target goal is to help grow the sport of cycling and their working model for achieving this goal is a multi-phase program that helps to launch and nurture successful careers for young athletes.

MRI Endurance P/B Monster Media Racing Team is a 20-man strong, Elite Masters squad. This impressive roster represents an extensive collection of accomplishments that include professional and master’s level National Championship wins. Their combined knowledge and experience in the sport is staggering. This close-knit group has formed the core power of the team – not just by winning races, but also by mentoring the junior team athletes.

New for 2013 is the Elite U23 squad under the MRI Endurance P/B Monster Media Racing umbrella featuring a 12-rider squad headed by rider/manager Austin Carroll. “Cream-of-the-crop” would be a phrase used to describe these riders; strict guidelines were used in selecting each of them. National Championship titles from two different countries are represented in the squad, with a focus on winning more in 2013. Setting the teams apart in crossover events such as Pro 1,2 races will be easy with the U23 squad sporting their own JL Velo white-based uniform with team signature green highlights.

As the youngest members of the MRI Endurance Cycling Team the Elite Juniors are looking to set a new standard. In 2013 two members of the junior squad were invited to race with the US National Junior Cycling Team abroad. Managed by Tim Ferreira, the eight-rider Elite Junior squad will share the same sponsors as the Elite Masters team and will be riding Masi Evoluziones in Junior as well as Pro 1,2 events.
